John Goik, Owner & BC-HIS

John Goik is a graduate of The Ohio State University. He grew up in Akron, Ohio and experienced the impacts of hearing loss with his mother and late brother. Both family members suffered from severe hearing impairments, yet were able to improve their quality of life through the use of hearing aids. This connection drove John to pursue a career in the hearing aid industry and has developed in him a lifelong commitment to help others through his work. John worked in Chicago for many years, before coming home to Ohio in 2019.

He is an expert at identifying whether hearing loss exists, whether hearing aids are needed, and which hearing aids will best help the patient. He prides himself on understanding the latest technology across all brands and delivering the best care in the most accessible way, so patients can achieve their optimal outcome. Hearing aids today can be basic, easy to handle, invisible, rechargeable, Bluetooth, or even remotely adjustable from anywhere. John will recommend what is most appropriate for your needs, lifestyle and budget.
