Do you need a hearing evaluation? Rather than take the time to drive to an office, especially in bad or inclement weather, we’ll come to your home for your first appointment. We not only want to make this process easy for you, but we also want you to be in a comfortable setting that is more like your day-to-day life rather than a sound-proof office. We’ll listen to your concerns and help you get to the bottom of any issues you may be having. If we need to, we can perform a hearing evaluation on-site that same day. All of this is FREE of charge, of course. Here is what you can expect during your first appointment:

• Get to know each other — We’ll first listen to your concerns and discuss your challenges. Next, we’ll ask questions that help us understand how hearing loss is impacting your life and those around you.
• An otoscopic examination—We’ll take a thorough look in your ears to uncover any possible causes, such as wax build up. Don’t worry, it’s completely painless!
• Hearing evaluation—Our technology lets us run a wide range of accurate assessments. If we determine you have hearing loss, we’ll discuss possibilities for where, why & how bad your loss is. We’ll also test your ability to understand speech in quiet and speech in background noise. The whole process takes about 20 minutes.
